[Review] McBride makes music of the people, for the people
It still amazes me that McBride — who I first encountered as a 17-year-old arrival on the New York scene, fresh from his native Philadelphia — will celebrate only his 41st birthday at the end of this month. Not only does it seem as though he has been on the scene forever now, but he has essentially been omnipresent.
